The East Africa Commercial and Logistics Center is located in UBUNGO District in Dar es Salaam will be opened in October. The project is now 90% complete.
The project is being funded by the East Africa Commercial and Logistics Center (EACLC) Limited, a Chinese firm involved in international trade, and jointly constructed by the China Civil Engineering Construction Corporation (CCECC).
It is close to the long-distance bus terminal and connects with the most important aviation, railway, highway and port transportation networks in Tanzania, showing an excellent geographical location advantage.
This project is a four-floor building with a gross floor area of 75,000 square meters. When completed, it can provide more than 2000 high-quality shops and 1,000 parking spaces.
To provide “one-stop” services for cross-border businesses, all-related service institutions such as customs, tax bureau, commodity inspection bureau, labor service, shipping and logistics companies, financial service companies will be stationed on the fourth floor.
