Money & Market

The State Bank of India (SBI) is set to release the admit cards for the Clerk Preliminary Examination today, February 10, 2025.

As nearly 2 million (19.9 lakh) candidates gear up to download their admit cards from the official website, the atmosphere is thick with anticipation and a mix of hope and anxiety.

This recruitment drive aims to fill 13,735 Junior Associate positions, making it a coveted opportunity for many.

For many aspirants, the SBI Clerk position represents more than just a job; it’s a stepping stone towards a stable career and a chance to contribute to one of India’s largest banking institutions. The admit card is not just a piece of paper; it’s a gateway to their dreams.

The Pressure of Expectations

With so many candidates vying for a limited number of positions, the competition is fierce. The pressure to perform well can be overwhelming, leading to exam jitters and sleepless nights.

Many candidates invest months, if not years, in preparation, attending coaching classes, solving mock tests, and burning the midnight oil.

Exam Pattern and Challenges

The SBI Clerk prelims exam is a one-hour test carrying 100 marks. The question paper is divided into three sections: English Language, Numerical Ability, and Reasoning Ability. While there are no minimum qualifying marks, one-fourth of the mark assigned will be deducted for each wrong answer.

Tips for Managing Exam Stress

  • Stay Positive: Believe in your preparation and focus on your strengths.
  • Take Breaks: Regular breaks can help prevent burnout and improve concentration.
  • Get Enough Sleep: A well-rested mind performs better under pressure.
  • Practice Relaxation Techniques: Deep breathing, meditation, and yoga can help calm nerves.

Downloading the admit card is straightforward:

  1. Visit the official SBI website.
  2. Go to the “Careers” section.
  3. Find the “Current Openings” page and navigate to the Junior Associate section.
  4. Click on the link to download the Preliminary Examination Call Letter.
  5. Enter your login credentials (registration number and password/date of birth).
  6. View and download the admit card.

As the admit cards are released, it’s important to remember that this is just one step in the journey. Staying calm, focused, and confident can make all the difference on exam day.
