Locally assembled Proton Saga saloon cars unveiled in Kenya

[divider style=”solid” top=”24″ bottom=”24″][dropcap]P[/dropcap]resident Uhuru Kenyatta has today launched the locally assembled of Proton Saga saloon cars at the Associated Vehicle Assembly (AVA) plant in Mombasa The President acknowledged Simba Corp’s Contribution to the Big 4 Agenda which will see job creation and wealth creation.

The Proton Saga has enhanced safety features, superb stability and braking performance, making it a safe car for Kenyans.

The President lauded the work done at AVA that is creating jobs for the Kenyan Youth and ensuring a transfer of skills in the area of manufacturing and vehicle assembly.

Mombasa County Governor H.E. Ali Hassan Joho lauded Simba Corp and AVA for continuing to create jobs for the County’s youth and offered the County’s full support in the initiative.

Simba Corp’s Executive Chairman, Adil Popat said, “We are extremely pleased to unveil the long-awaited locally assembled Proton Saga saloon car into the Kenyan market. The Proton Saga is a superior car and we know that our customers will have a great experience.
