Breeze Airways is bringing new travel opportunities to Rochester with the announcement of four flight routes starting in May 2025.
This expansion will connect the Frederick Douglass Greater Rochester International Airport (ROC) to popular destinations in the Southeast and beyond, offering both nonstop and one-stop services.
Beginning May 8, 2025, Breeze Airways will offer nonstop flights to Charleston, South Carolina (CHS). These flights will operate twice a week, on Thursdays and Sundays, with one-way fares starting at $59.
The following day, on May 9, 2025, Breeze will launch nonstop service to Raleigh-Durham, North Carolina (RDU). Flights to this bustling hub of innovation and culture will also operate twice weekly, on Mondays and Fridays, with fares starting at just $49 one way.
In addition to nonstop routes, Breeze Airways will offer convenient “BreezeThru” one-stop flights to two other exciting destinations:
Both one-stop routes allow passengers to travel without changing planes, making the journey smooth and hassle-free.
Monroe County Executive Adam Bello expressed excitement about the new routes:
“These flights open up incredible opportunities for Rochester residents to explore new destinations while strengthening our airport’s position as a key travel hub in Upstate New York.”
Breeze Airways CEO David Neeleman echoed this sentiment, highlighting the airline’s mission:
“We’re thrilled to bring affordable and convenient travel options to Rochester. Our goal has always been to connect underserved markets with nonstop flights or easy connections.”
Since its launch in 2021, Breeze Airways has become known for its focus on affordability and customer experience. With a modern fleet of Airbus A220 aircraft, the airline offers comfortable seating and onboard amenities that cater to both leisure and business travelers.
Tickets for these new routes are already available for booking on the Breeze Airways website.
With competitive fares and expanded travel options, Rochester residents now have more reasons than ever to plan their next getaway.
Whether it’s exploring Charleston’s historic charm, Raleigh’s vibrant culture, or enjoying the attractions of New Orleans or Orlando, Breeze Airways is making it easier—and more affordable—to take off from ROC.
