Bengaluru Metro to Start Early on Mondays for Passenger Convenience

In a move aimed at enhancing convenience for early-morning commuters, Bengaluru Metro services will begin at 4:15 AM starting Monday, January 13, 2025.

This new schedule will be implemented exclusively on Mondays, allowing passengers to access metro services earlier than usual.

Previously, metro services in Bengaluru began at 5:00 AM, but the new timing is expected to accommodate travelers arriving from long weekends or those needing an early start to the week.

The move will help smoothen the commute for passengers who require swift and efficient transport options as they head towards key hubs like the City Railway Station and Kempegowda Bus Stand.

As part of the revised schedule, two trains will depart from Majestic station at 4:20 AM, stationed at Magadi Road. The early start will provide commuters with better last-mile connectivity, particularly to major transport hubs.

Bangalore Metro Rail Corporation Limited (BMRCL) announced that while Monday services will operate at the earlier time, the schedule for other days of the week will remain unchanged, with services starting at 5:00 AM from Tuesday to Sunday.

The change is expected to benefit both residents and visitors, offering a more convenient and punctual travel option for those commuting early in the morning.

With this adjustment, Bengaluru Metro aims to further solidify its role as a key transportation service, meeting the evolving needs of the city’s growing population.
