This alert, announced on January 27, 2025, by the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS), advises consumers to avoid consuming the affected product.
The chicken nuggets were distributed across eight states:
Wegmans has confirmed that the product is no longer available for purchase in stores; however, it may still be present in consumers’ freezers.
The FSIS received multiple complaints from consumers regarding the presence of bone fragments in the nuggets, prompting this alert.
Fortunately, there have been no reported injuries linked to the consumption of these products.
Consumers who have purchased these chicken nuggets are urged to either discard them or return them to Wegmans for a full refund.
