Delta continues to elevate the premium ground experience with the opening of the third Delta One Lounge, located at Boston Logan International Airport.
Accessible through the Delta Sky Club on Concourse E, this 6,700-square-foot exclusive dining lounge will offer guests a one-of-a-kind culinary experience, developed by highly acclaimed and decorated chef Ed Brown and marked by Delta’s signature hospitality and service.
“No two Delta One Lounges are alike – with each new space, we strive to create something truly special and distinct to the host city, while never compromising on service or quality,” said Claude Roussel, Vice President – Delta Sky Club and Lounge Experience.
“We know our guests value the exclusivity and hospitality of dining at a Delta One Lounge. This lounge is designed to deliver the elevated, VIP experience guests want — an experience that draws inspiration from the history and culinary traditions of Boston.”
In addition to the premium space, Delta One guests will have access to the award-winning BOS-E Delta Sky Club, recently named one of the 10 best lounges in the U.S.
by USA Today. This includes exclusive use of the Club living room area to the right of check-in, which features soundproof booths (including ADA-accessible options) and second monitors for guests looking to complete any last-minute work.
Guests will also have access to the six well-appointed standard and ADA-accessible shower suites located in the Club, equipped with amenities like towels, bathrobes, slippers and Grown Alchemist products.
At check-in, Delta One guests will enjoy an elevated experience, with personalized flight assistance and premium hospitality from Delta Elite Services ambassadors.
Ship-shape: Luxe design inspired by Boston’s nautical past
Similar to the adjacent BOS-E Sky Club, the look and feel of the Delta One Lounge pays homage to Boston’s maritime heritage, with standout features like a custom-designed sail ceiling.
Both the ceiling and bar shape nod to the USS Constitution or “Old Ironsides,” the world’s oldest commissioned naval warship still afloat, which resides in Boston Harbor.
Subtle elements, like a foot rail at the base of the bar and a metal cage overhead, pay tribute to the nautical, ship-like ambience. Bronze accents at the bar and in the atmospheric custom lighting, along with shades of blue marine in the banquettes, dining chairs and custom carpet, further echo the maritime theme.
The color palette reflects Boston’s academic heritage, with maroon shades and rich leather evoking the city’s classic learning institutions.
From dock to dish: Sophisticated takes on seafood favorites
Boston’s hottest new dining spot just might be the new Delta One Lounge, with a menu rich in seafood options that complement the nautical theme.
Guests can receive a three-course meal in less than an hour, with elevated seafood dishes like a warm Maine lobster roll, octopus carpaccio and cod Milanese on the menu. A chef’s daily local fish selection will be served a la plancha.
-seafood lovers will have plenty to enjoy, too, with options like prime steak tartare, crispy cauliflower, the fan-favorite steak frites, and more.
Round out your meal with a sweet treat, like a warm apple tart or a local classic, Boston cream pie.
And since no Boston dining experience is complete without a cup o’chowdah, either a seafood or vegetarian variation of the classic New England dish will be offered upon request as an appetizer to accompany the first course.
