NTPC Green Energy Soars in Q3 with Strong Profit Growth Amidst Rising Revenue

NTPC Green Energy has posted impressive financial results for the third quarter of the 2025 fiscal year, reporting an 18% year-on-year increase in net profit.

The company’s profit for the quarter surged to ₹65.61 crore, up from ₹55.61 crore in Q3 of the previous year, marking a significant boost to its bottom line.

This growth comes alongside a 13% rise in revenue from operations, which reached ₹505.08 crore, compared to ₹446.14 crore in the same period last year.

Despite the positive profit growth, NTPC Green Energy faced some cost pressures as its EBITDA margin contracted to 83.5%, down from 88.9% in Q3 of FY24.

The company’s strong earnings reflect its continued dominance in the renewable energy sector, but the margin squeeze signals rising operational costs that may require attention in the coming quarters.

The solid performance reflects NTPC Green Energy’s ongoing commitment to expanding its renewable energy portfolio, and the company remains on track to capitalize on the growing demand for green energy solutions.

The upbeat results come on the back of NTPC Green Energy’s market expansion and its efforts to scale up solar and wind power projects, aligning with India’s renewable energy goals.

This marks another milestone in NTPC Green Energy’s journey as it continues to strengthen its position in the competitive green energy space.
