Banks across India will remain closed on Monday, December 25, 2024, in observance of Christmas Day, a national holiday.
This closure applies to all public sector, private sector, and cooperative banks, as well as branches regulated by the Reserve Bank of India (RBI).
While physical banking services such as over-the-counter transactions, cheque clearances, and other in-branch operations will not be available, customers can continue to access digital banking platforms, ATMs, and mobile banking services without interruption.
Customers are advised to plan their banking transactions accordingly, as the holiday may also result in delays for certain interbank processes. Normal banking operations will resume on Tuesday, December 26, 2024.
For further details, customers can check their respective bank’s holiday schedule or contact their nearest branch.
