Telkom Unveils New Logo and Brand Identity in Strategic Repositioning Drive

Telkom has officially unveiled its refreshed logo and visual identity as part of a broader strategy to modernize its brand and better align with evolving consumer expectations and technological advancements.

The new identity, launched on July 21, 2025, marks a pivotal step in the telecommunications giant’s journey to remain competitive and forward-looking in a rapidly transforming digital landscape.

The updated branding introduces a vibrant and contemporary design centered around a bold new symbol known as the “Dynamic T”.

This iconography reflects Telkom’s renewed commitment to innovation, agility, and relevance in the telecoms and digital services space.

Accompanied by a cleaner, more modern color palette, the new look is designed to resonate with a younger, digitally native audience while maintaining the trust and familiarity of its legacy brand.

“This rebrand is more than just a new logo — it’s a clear signal of our ambitions to be a leading force in digital connectivity,” said Telkom Group CEO Serame Taukobong during the brand launch event.

“As customer needs evolve, we are reimagining how we engage and deliver value to them. Our refreshed identity is a powerful expression of this transformation.”

Telkom’s rebranding comes at a time when the telecommunications sector is experiencing significant disruption, driven by advances in 5G, cloud computing, and digital platforms.

Industry analysts suggest that a strong and contemporary brand presence is crucial for players seeking to stay competitive in this dynamic market.

The new brand identity will be rolled out across all of Telkom’s customer touchpoints, including its retail stores, website, mobile applications, fleet, and marketing materials over the coming months.

The company has also launched a multimedia campaign to support the rebrand, highlighting its enhanced service offerings and customer-first approach.

For many, the rebranding signals a new chapter in Telkom’s history — one that embraces the demands of the future while building on the strengths of the past.

“Ultimately, this is about evolution,” said Taukobong. “We are simplifying, modernizing, and becoming more responsive to what our customers want — seamless, smart, and secure connectivity wherever they are.”

The updated brand identity follows several recent operational and strategic changes at Telkom, including investments in digital infrastructure, expanded fiber rollouts, and enhanced customer experience initiatives.
