UEA increases tourist visa fee


The Emirati government has increased visa services fees for residence and visit visas.  An official from the UAE Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs and Ports Security (ICP) has confirmed that its services are now subject to a price increase of 100 Dirhams.

  • Foreign nationals must now pay 370 AED (about US$100), increased from 270 AED, for a new Emirates ID card that is valid for two years.
  • Foreign nationals must now pay 370 AED, increased from 270 AED, and an additional 50 AED travel insurance fee for a one-month visit visa.
  • UAE authorities did not increase the fees for issuing new passports, the renewal or replacement of identity cards or for dependent-related documents.

Additional Information: Fees may vary based on company’s establishment, travel agency and tourism company license qualification.

Fees for passports, ID card renewal and dependent-related documents will not be increased at this time.
