Laxmi Dental Makes Strong Market Debut with Premium Listing


Laxmi Dental Limited, a leading name in the dental products industry, witnessed a robust debut on the stock exchanges today, January 20, 2025.

On the National Stock Exchange (NSE), Laxmi Dental’s shares opened at ₹542 per share, a 26.64% increase over the initial public offering (IPO) price of ₹428. Meanwhile, on the Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE), the shares started trading at ₹528 per share, marking a 23.36% premium.

The company’s IPO, priced between ₹407 and ₹428 per share, garnered tremendous attention from investors, with a subscription rate of 114 times.

The IPO raised ₹698 crore, with plans to allocate the proceeds towards debt repayment, funding capital expenditure, investment in its subsidiary Bizdent Devices Pvt Ltd, and general corporate purposes.
