Leading global logistics and logistical infrastructure provider Agility has laid the foundation stone for agility warehouse park in Maputo ring road in marracuene, Mozambique.
The warehouse will provide will provide 175,000sq m of space and efficient warehousing services which will be available to local and international companies.
Construction agility park in Mozambique is part of a broader strategy to fund construction of modern warehouses across major markets in Africa so as to support the development of domestic and regional trade.
Agility warehouse parks will among other things provide uninterrupted power along with a higher level of security for customers hence creating an international platform where companies can efficiently operate their businesses.
Agility Africa chief executive Geoffrey White says they seek to provide international standard warehouse in Africa for storage, packing processing and light manufacturing necessary for economic growth.
“The agility warehouse in Mozambique will be accessible to both the local and international businesses and that is because it will have high quality infrastructure, easy and fast movement of goods at a very affordable cost,” said Mr White.
