The new office will look after the group’s interest in the region, operating as a control tower and centralized service center in North Africa for its overseas partners and clients.
The new team will focus in promoting Aero Africa’s digital airfreight portal, developing BSA scheduled consolidations from Asia to North Africa, and to providing innovative air cargo solutions & value-added services to the North African freight & logistics community.
Aero Africa has already launched earlier this year neutral BSA scheduled consolidations, providing competitive airfreight wholesale rates from Asia, EU and the UK to the Southern African markets.
The North Africa control tower will be led by Nina Carcat and Hamza Benzina.
Nina Carcat, Network Solutions Manager said:
“With the accelerated economic growth in North Africa, and the matching increase in automotive, pharma and other logistics activities from direct trade with Far East as well as the world, it has become critical in providing the logistics and aviation sector with a tailor-made simplified neutral air cargo solution, supported by a secure financial transacting platform.
With our own control centers across Asia, Europe, and key African gateways, as well through selected trusted air cargo professionals in each African airport, we offer bespoke cost-effective solutions for Africa to the logistics and aviation community.
This includes regional freighter feeder & RFS services, freight collect, A2D, DDP, neutral break-bulk, time critical, project air cargo, as well as final mile solutions, including services to remote difficult to reach destinations, all through Aero Africa’s single point of contact, control, and management.”
